Eau Claire Robotics is dedicated to inspiring students through hands-on STEM experiences, teamwork, and innovation. Our programs are part of FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a global organization that promotes science, technology, engineering, and math through competitive robotics.
At Eau Claire, MI, we offer opportunities for students to participate in multiple levels of FIRST programs:
- FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC)
- Designed for middle and high school students, FTC teams design, build, and program robots to compete in an annual challenge. Eau Claire’s FTC team is Beavertronics (Team 32661), where students learn advanced programming, mechanical design, and problem-solving skills.
- FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)
- FRC is the highest level of FIRST competition for high school students. Teams build large-scale robots to tackle complex challenges in a high-energy, sports-like environment. Eau Claire’s FRC team is Timber Techs (Team 11399), which emphasizes engineering, leadership, and collaboration.
